Mitas tyres OE on new GasGas Trial motorcycles

Spanish off-road motorcycle specialist GasGas has selected the Mitas ET-01 trial tyre as original equipment for two of its new models, the GasGas Trial Contact ES and GasGas Trial School. These are the first GasGas motorcycles fitted with Mitas tyres as original equipment.
“Mitas and GasGas have developed an excellent partnership and we are glad that Mitas ET-01 tyres have been chosen as original equipment for two new models of GasGas trial motorcycles,” comments Ksenija Bitenc, director of Mitas’ Motorcycle Tires and Tubes product area. “Mitas is also strengthening the cooperation with GasGas in North America where we are a partner of 2017 GasGas Test Ride Tour.”
Mitas says its ET-01 tyres accommodate mounting with or without a tube. For the electric start Trial Contact ES and the Trial School, the Trelleborg Group company will deliver the ET-01 2.75-21 (front), ET-01 4.00-18 X-PRO (rear) and ET-01 4.00-18 (rear).
The ET-01 2.75-21 is suitable for riding on both sealed and unmaintained roads. The tyre is designed for use in trial competitions and also suitable for Enduro competitions where traditional off-road tyres for enduro and motocross are not permitted.
The ET-01 4.00-18 X-PRO is the latest Mitas trial racing tyre and it features a new casing construction with an extra soft tread compound, allowing excellent grip and riding properties on a wide range of terrains.
Mitas recommends the ET-01 4.00-18 for amateur trial competition and for trial training.
